BioI'm old enough to know better and still young enough to do it-anyway; as my mother used to say. I finally put that into affect several years ago. I realised that taking chances IS life. Not to just sit and ruminate on the 'what if's' and the 'should have's'. Having said that, I've actually met some of those actors, musicians and writers that have been my idols. Unfortunately, once you meet some of them and they don't live up to the image in your mind, disappointment can almost turn into depression. Your ideals dashed and your beliefs challenged.
Those who have NOT disappointed were the following: Allen Kozowski, Greg Manck, Jack Chalker, John Russo, Brian Lumley; Colleen Gray, Russ Striner, Gaylen Ross, David Heddison, P.J. Soles, Mink Stole, George Romero, Kevin McCarthy. Musicians: Buck Dharma, Rusty Young, Allen Lanier, Pat DiNizio, Richie Furary, Rob Grill.
